Day Thirty Nine.

We shopped until we dropped today! I wanted to stock up on some cold weather clothes before I went back to good ole' NC. I can barely fit in any of my old clothes so a new wardrobe is needed! lol Carter and I met Kayla, Baby Kelsey, and Sara at the Oaks Mall and we had a good time! Then afterward Carter and I went to Omi's to swim with Jax, Lynsi, Taylor, and Danielle. Carter loves the pool. Seriously, I think he likes it more than he like me!! Haha. Now he is wore slap out sleeping right next to me. I just got off Skype with you because of that dumb rocket. I hope everyone is okay. We love and miss you baby. Day Thirty Eight.

Hi babe. We spent allllll day in Gainesville at doctors offices. First the urgent care center for my gross toe then Dr. Olga for Carter's thrush! Im so thankful that she was able to see him since no one else here would since he's under 6 months. So i got antibiotocs and Carter got Nyastan and were working toward getting better! ILY. Day Thirty Seven.

I love Sundays. They are so easy going. Carter and I went to the Lake City flea market with your mom and Carley. Carley was cracking us up, he pushed the stroller pretty much the entire time.. It was too cute!! Wer also are lunch at that County Cookin' place.. It was pretty good. Carter liked his lima beans that I have him there! lol Wer came home and took a nap. It was a long day for both of us! lol WE LOVE YOU DADDY!

Day Thirty Six.

Well last night was tough. Carter woke up at 4am and never went back to sleep. So that means his mommy never went back to sleep either! So in an attempt to get him to shut his eyes for a little while, we skipped Dayvens 9am football game. We did however make it to Madison's since it was at 130pm and I had time for a cup of coffee! It was SO incredibly hot. Like 106. I was sweating and so was poor Carter! Never will I take him in heat like that again. Gosh. Then when we got home we were able to fit in about an hour nap. Omi brought me over some pound cake to, which is fantastic! Oh, Carter does this thing with his hands where he moves them around together all of the time. Its like now that he knows his hands exsist, he wants them in constant motion! Kinda funny. Im very happy that you have internet in your room now. That 45 minute conversation was much needed tonight. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. Seriously, i love you a whole lot.

Day Thirty Five.

We went and ate lunch with my mom at that seafood resturant at Lake Butler Lake. Carter laughed the whole time. He also had baby food for the first time today. I mixed milk, baby cereal, and banana baby food together and he loved it! He feel right to sleep after he ate. I guess he was happy to FINALLY have a full tummy! lol Im SO glad you got internet in your room now. Makes me happy to know you dont have to walk 374625 miles to talk to us. I love you baby. Hope to talk to you tomorrow. Hug yourself for me(:

Day Thirty Four.

Today Carter, your mom, and I went to Gainesville. I had to pick up some more things for my necklaces and I also wanted to get my hair cut! We met up with Holly in a parking lot so she could have some Carter time. It started to rain so we all sat in the car talking for almost an hour.. You know how us girls are! lol Then Sara came over to the house for a little bit to hang out with us! I love you baby. Only 159 more days to go (:

Day Thirty Three.

Well, Lacey came over this morning to meet Carter and to visit. She rocked him to sleep right away so we were able to have a good talk with her. She is such a sweet girl!! But I am sorry our phone call got cut short :( I hate when one second of our time is wasted. I am thankful that you were able to call in the first place though. We also went to Omi's to take pictures of Madison, Dayven, and Carter. Carter did NOT like it I must say. He cried pretty much the entire time. But we did manage to get a few cute ones. We swam after pictures and Carter sure does love to swim! He just kicks his little feet nonstop.. iIt's so  cute! Carter and I went to Chelsea's after for dinner with Cindy, Mac, Cody and herself. It was the first time Cindy meet Carter and she was very excited. We had yet another mini photoshoot of Carter! Poor baby, he's going to have 3759602716384 baby pictures for me to pull out for all his girlfriends one day! lol And it looks like we're stuck here in FL until at least Saturday. Stupid Irene is trying to attack poor NC. Dumb butt huricane. Did she not realize we had plans?! Well I love you baby. I hope youre doing well. Talk to you soon. Xoxo.

Day Thirty Two.

We visited Aunt Carol with grandma. She was overly excited to meet Carter! And as always your grandma obsessed over him the entire time!! We went to Moe's to eat lunch too. They have the COOLEST drink machine there. It hs over 100 flavors. I had a strawberry Sprite, then I took a vanilla Sprite to go. I want one of those machines at our house! It was awesome. I love you.

Day Thirty One.

We just hung out at the house today. Carter has had a pretty bad day. He hasn't stopped fusing at all. I'm glad I had your mom here to help me today. I'm really missing you bad tonight. I think Skyping with you makes me miss you even more. I just need a big hug from you and I'll be all better. I guess tomorrow we're spending the day with Grandma Brown, wish me luck! I love you baby, so very very much <3

Day Thirty.

We spent some more time at the beach before we headed home. I went to that Starbucks on A1A that we went to that one time we ride scooters around there. Brought back some good memories. I took a picture if the bp that exploded on the way home. Carter sleep the entire drive, I was relieved! I love you baby.

Day Twenty Nine.

We woke up super early today to get ready for the beach! I cant wait to show you all of the pictures and videos from Carter's first day at the beach. I wish you were there, I cant wait intil we take him next year when he is older!! (: I got him some Speedo trunks and a matching hat.. He looked adorable!! I guess you were sleepy tonight, but hopefully you can call tomorrow. I love you Acea, SOOO much!!

Day Twenty Eight

We mailed off your package today.. Dont worry there is candy in there. We also went to visit Grandma Brown for a long time. She was SO happy to see him as always. Im glad we were able to Skype with you today too. You looked quite handsome(: I miss you so much baby. Cant wait to talk to you again soon. I love you babe.

Day Twenty Seven.

Wellllll, last night Carter slept for 5 hours!! Can I get a round of applause? I was so proud of him! We went to Gainesville to do a little shopping. I bought done more stuff for my necklaces and I actually made my very first one today and I am quite proud I must say!! After we got home and are dinner I took Carter to your Grandma's house. Scratch that, I ATTEMPTED to take him to visit. I got there and stood outside knocking for 5 minutes then called a million times then finally left. When I started driving down the road I called one more time to leave a voicemail and she picked up and said she didn't hear me. So I turned around and headed back to her house while I was still talking to her then she said for me to just come tomorrow. So I turned around AGAIN to go back home. I was a bit frustrated, but id never tell her that. Glad you were able to text me today. I can't wait to Skype with you, I miss you SOOO much. We love you baby. Stay safe!

Day Twenty Six.

Carter did not sleep last night. So instead we stayed in bed until 11am today!! We hung around the house until 730. We met Mom and Greg at Larados for dinner. Then we came back home and your Mom and Carley were finally back from Biloxi! Let me tell ya, taking care of these dogs is no easy task. Buck needs like 3 different meds twice a day, Sophie eats all the time because she's pregnant, Jack comes inside from 2-5 because it's hot, and Bentley and Skiler.. Well they're Bentley and Skiler. Tomorrow we're hanging out with your mom. We're redoing the guest bathroom so well probably be getting stuff for that! Well I love and miss you tons!!! P.s. I made you a facebook so we can video chat on there (it's a new thing)!

Day Twenty Five.

Carter and I went to Omi's for lunch. I also took him in the pool for the first time. He did great. I took a video of it for you to see later. Ariel and Chelsea are staying the night tonight.. Last night without your mom here. I miss her, its been so hard to stay fed without her around! lol I guess you were busy flying today. It's the second time Ive went all day without hearing from you :( I hope to hear from you soon. We love you!

Day Twenty Four.

We visited Grandma Brown today for a little while. Maidson and Dayven were there so I stopped by to visit everyone. Then I took them both to Dicks Wings for dinner/lunch! We had a good time, but having them two together isn't an easy task! Then I got home and started stressing about how to keep up with what I spent. It's so hard to stay organized when we're home. Day Twenty One.

Whoa we had a rough day today. It was one I hope to forget. We are finally home in Florida after 14 HOURS on the road. I can barely even function Im so tired. Thank you for making me feel better today. I felt so bad and you can always put a smile on my face even if it's through an email. I love you so much baby, you dont even know. Please be safe and call me when you can.

Day Twenty!

Carter + Shots = Fussy Baby & Exausted Mommy.

Getting his shots made hin not feel good at all :( He never cries for no reason and he has been doing it ever since they stuck that big ole' shot in his thigh!! I feel so bad for him. When he hurts I hurt for him. I hope you're getting some sleep as I write this. Im so worried youre going to over do yourself. Well I'm going to attempt to get some sleep, we have a big day of driving tomorrow!! We LOVE you soooooo much! Stay safe baby. Talk to you soon.

Day Nineteen.

So yeah, it's 330am and I'm exausted and your son is not. We've had a busy afternoon. Carter barely slept at all today so I had high hopes that he would sleep good tonight. Obviously I was SO wrong. I know you had a tough day today, I'm sorry you had to do that. I couldn't imagine what you were feeling /: I wish I could be there with you tonight, I miss you more than you know. But for now I'll hold our son close because he is the closest thing I've got. I love you with all my heart baby. Talk to you soon!

Day Eighteen

Today Carter laughed for the first time! He had to have his diaper changed and I always attept to keep him happy the entire time. I was smiling and baby talking him and he gave me a big smile back so I laughed out loud, then he laughed back, then we went back and forth laughing at each others laughs like 5 times. It was seriously the cutest thing Ive ever saw! I love to know that little bear is happy. I wish I could have caught it on tape. Im sure he'll do it again soon and I'll record it! Day Seventeen.

Hey baby. I didnt get to talk to you for the first time since you left. It pretty much stinks. I got used to hearing your voice every day. Well today was a pretty busy day. First Liz rode with me to legal to sign for my will so she could watch Carter while I did it. I went in a room full of like 30 stinky gross marines. I swore into oath and everything then they called my into the office just to tell me that mine was the only one that didn't get finished and that I'd have to come back later to sign. Uhh, I was so mad! But then we went and did a few more things in New Bern before we went back home. One of those things included going to the post office where a butt head lady felt the need to tell me how crooked I was parked and to remember next time not to do that. Oh. My. Gosh. Some people drive me crazy!!! Any who, since we're leaving and I can't use those checks for the month, I let Rach and Liz split them! And in return Rachael fed me dinner! lol Well I hope you're okay and you're just too busy to call. I'll be waiting by the phone for your call. I love and miss you so much baby.

Day Sixteen.

Hey babe! Carter and I had a LaZy Sunday today! First of all he slept 6 hours last night!! I was so happy I told him how proud I was of him for like an hour straight! We only left to pick up a newpaper. And when i picked it up, I literally parked right in front of the newpaper box! Haha. Then I made flower hair pins all night. I'm probably going to sell them in my shop too! Well I love you baby.. So very much!

Day Fifteen.

Sooo, I've already told you this but I'm telling you again because I'm so dang excited.. Carter went 4 hours between feedings for the very first time ever last night. Woo hoo for him. We also pulled out his little umbrella stroller, which is still a little too big for him, and we went for a mini walk. By mini I mean to where we always see lightening bugs and back! It was too hot, but Carter loved seeing everything! We also went in the rain to take some pictures for Rachael for her shower. That was pretty fun carrying a baby around in a sling in the middle of a field!! He feel right to sleep though. I made a late night trip to target to get a shirt that I've been wanting because I had a coupon that expired today! Well, the days are ticking. Only 178 more to go!! We love you baby!!!

Day Fourteen.

Well today Carter turned 8 weeks old. Time is flying by! Every week that I post his weekly picture I always flip back to week one and I'm always amazed at how much he's grown. We went to the fabric store to buy some more material and then Rachael and I picked up some Waffle House and came back to the house for Carter's photoshoot! I also started my Etsy shop today even though I have nothing to put inside it.. YET! Im going to attemp a few more times to make my own graphics for the shop but we'll see where that goes. I may end up needing to hire a pro! Carter hasnt really let me put him down all day.. Im thinking he may have a tummy ache. He's actually crying as i write this. Im trying my best to not pick him up. This is really hard. I gave him gripe water but apparently he's still a gripin'! lol Well I miss you SO much it's unreal. Not only do I miss your sweet self, I miss help. It's pretty hard doing all this on my own. I dont know how single moms work take care of their kids and go to school? Id absolutely go insane. Actually after today I think I am insane. But Im okay with that. I love you so much babe. Hope you have a good day, or night, not sure when youre reading this. XoXo

Day Thirteen.

Wooah are we really already in the teens? Next thing ya know we'll be in the twenties, then forties, then hundreds!!! So I did it, I took the plunge and bought the jewlrey kit. I was so nervous but with a little pep talk from you I was able to click purchase! I'm so excited to start. I can't wait to learn how to do this. We rented Rango the lizard movie today. It was pretty cute. I also listened to Jersey Shore. I need to go back and actually watch it this time!! Well I hope you got some rest, you sounded pretty tired tonight. We love you with all our hearts!

Day Twelve.

Today we went to Michaels and to Quiznos. It was the first time I've eaten there since the day before Carter was born! Then we got to talk to you! I love getting to see your face. And Carter loves it too! Can't wait to hear from you again. We love you!!!

Day Eleven.

Today I got alot done thanks to Liz. She came over to watch Carter while I did a few things around the house. I also was able to send out your care package! I'm missing you alot tonight. I cant wait to be in your arms again. I love you baby. So very much. P.s. Don't you think he's out growing his bed? lol Looks like we'll be taking a trip to Babies r us soon!

Day Ten.

Woo hoo.. Were in double digits, 10 days down!! I miss you more and more every day. I wish we could just pack up and see you! Its like that song "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away" except it's if Afganistan wasn't so far away, I'd pack up Carter and go for the day! Well anywho, Carter is a pro at holding his own head up so today we took a picture to remember. I figure if we take a picture with how old he is written in it we wont ever forget his "firsts". Today we ran around getting a few things for your care package.. Then I saw how tiny the boxes were. Wow, how can i fit anything in there? I may have to wait to send you a towel. Im sure you can work with 3 for now! Well tomorrow were going to drop Rachaels car off at the shop then go mail off your box so be looking out for it.. in 2 weeks! Dang snail mail! Well we love you from the tip of our toes to the farthest star in the sky! Oh p.s. JP WON! (;

Day Nine.

Hey baby. Well I dont have much to write about. Carter and I stayed home all day. I was a meanie and took hin outside to take some pictures. Just like you he squinted the entire time so I barely got any good shots. I need to find him some baby sunglasses! Oh, and I'm sad to say but Carter has pretty much grown out of his vibrating bed. His feet touch the end of the bed and his head is at the tippy top. I'm not sure what I'm going to do because this boy won't sleep for more than an hour unless he's sleeping on something that vibrates. Off to babies r us we go! Well we love you bunches.
